WebI replaced it with GM 16awg fusible link wire, just like original. Sequence of how it happened both times, 1. Try starting, 2. It does not so I stop cranking, 3. Pump the gas a little and to make sure choke on carb is set. 4. Try to restart, started engages and pop the link is gone.
