Anatomic studies suggest that the axillary neurovascular bundle is in close proximity to the glenohumeral capsule. WebThe most extensive involvement was found in the areas of the superior medial aspect of the humeral head and the adjacent superior aspect of the osseous glenoid process. No loose intraarticular bodies or marginal osteophytes were found. The clinical and imaging findings in these four cases were considered diagnostic of glenohumeral chondrolysis.
